Hello and welcome to TruePB.net.

There are 3 purposes of this site.

• The primary is that of a throw back to yesteryear of hosting your own site on personalised site, like that of Geocities from back in the day, rather than depending on centralised social media providers. There’s some good history on this here.


• Secondary purpose is that this has been created as a learning experience to understand some key web development terms such as using HTML, CSS and Java script. Plus using Docker to compile my applications into lightweight containers and host them on my own infrastructure.


• The third purpose is that the TruePB calculator is meant partly as a bit of fun and entertainment but there is an element of truth.

I am going to try build out various other tools as part of this website as they come to me and link some of my previous running related projects into this page for “fans” to have a central place to find them.
